13.1 for Wonfel 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking some time to visit this page.

In 10 weeks, my partner Vishnu and I will be running the San Francisco 1/2 Marathon in support of the nonprofit organization Wonfel Aid! 

I first learned about Wonfel a couple of years ago when my aunt joined the organization after hearing about the impacts of the ethnic-based conflicts in Ethiopia. This civil conflict has left many children with no family and limited access to resources.

Currently, Wonfel works to provide food, education, shelter, healthcare, and other necessities to these orphaned children and impacted families to empower the people of Ethiopia in their future endeavors. 

For the past year, I have supported Wonfel’s ‘Project Resilience,’ sponsoring two children who became orphaned due to the massacres throughout Ethiopia. This program currently supports 530 children, which continues to grow with increased support. Now, I hope to be able to make a more significant impact and utilize my privilege - with your help- to run and raise money for this wonderful organization.
