Instead of receiving traditional gifts for her 70th birthday, Metti is raising funds for Wonfel Aid, a US-based nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status registered in California. Your generous gift will help bring hope and joy to those in need.
I AM FOR MY SISTER
The use of sexual violence as a weapon against unarmed and vulnerable civilians in Ethiopia's Amhara region has resulted in thousands of victims requiring our collective support. Due to the high number of survivors and limited funding, we seek financial assistance from donors like you.
Your support will enable us to continue providing essential services and resources to victims of sexual violence in the Amhara region.
Sponsor a Child Program
To give hope to Amhara children who lost their parents to the wave of genocidal massacres and war.
What started as a desperate attempt to save one little girl from Metekel who lost both parents has now grown into sponsoring over 500. In addition, the program has expanded to give hope to many children who lost one or both parents due to the ethnic cleansing in Metekel, Wollega, Ataye, and the war-torn regions of Ethiopia.
Your participation in this program is a charitable contribution and an effective way to fight poverty. Additionally, it provides opportunities for children to have a better future.
Would you like to join us in this mission to rescue thousands of vulnerable children?

Internally Displaced Children Food Assistance Program -
Meals for IDP Kids Campaign
The 2023 Ethiopian Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) has reported that approximately 4.5 million internally displaced individuals (IDPs) require humanitarian aid this year. Over 30,000 IDPs were displaced from the Wollega zones of the Oromia regional state to Debre Berhan City, located in the Amhara regional state. These individuals are currently experiencing severe and chronic shortages of necessities, such as food and shelter.
The program is intended to benefit:
ā¢ Children with disabilities
ā¢ Children who have experienced trauma and require counseling and
ā¢ Children who have lost one or both parents
We provide meals to 650-700 IDP children in the two camps. Your contributions have been crucial in making a tangible difference in their lives.
Please support our critical 'Meals for Kids' campaign, which urgently needs your help.
Let's make wishes come true, not just for me but for those in need, too!
