The North Gondar Zone, especially East Kelemet Dima, is facing a severe drought. Six kebeles—Meda Hamshomdir, Degbrayi, Fiyel Wuha, Chachere, and Maigmere—are badly affected. Thousands of livestock have perished, and many more are at risk. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of residents face severe challenges due to a lack of rainfall.

Wonfel is partnering with the United Amhara Charity and Development Association to distribute food and emerency supplies.
